Sen. Hillary Clinton to Speak at DSC Conference

Hillary Clinton will attend the New Jersey Democratic Party's Annual Conference in Atlantic City on Friday, September 7th, joining with Democrats from throughout the state in the post-Labor Day event that signals the acceleration of the 2007 campaign cycle, Governor Jon Corzine and Joe Cryan, the chairman of the Democratic State Committee announced on Wednesday. Governor Corzine and Senator Clinton will address the conference at the Friday luncheon along with Assembly Speaker Joseph Roberts, Congressman Frank Pallone and Assembly Majority Leader Bonnie Watson Coleman. "New Jersey will play a key role in the political campaigns that will help change the direction of the country and Garden State Democrats will be important participants," said State Chairman Joe Cryan. "The earlier primary in New Jersey and the strength of the party gives us a more prominent voice in the selection process."
